Case Study for Remote Box Office

The website that we built, is an event ticket booking platform (Based on wordpress plugin Tickera) where organizer can list their events over site using the functions and options of the wordpress plugin Tickera. Users can search for event by specifying location and interests. They can view listing of events. They can select one of them and view the complete event details like image, description, location on Google map and organizer over website. They can book tickets for selected event by choosing the quantity of tickets they want to buy. For each ticket a QR code will be generated. They can also share and invite his friends to join the event on Facebook. To purchase tickets user need to make payment by Stripe Payment gateway. There will be separate login for user and organizer. Person who logged in as a user cannot create events and if he is logged in as organizer he cannot buy tickets.

Organizer can create event with its details like image, description, location and number of total tickets. Organizer will be able to manage event creation and sitting arrangement through Tickera plugin will allow owners to create their events along with seat management. Firstly, organizers will register over the website and create their account. Organizer will able to create/manage events along with seats arrangement. Organizer will redirect to current set up of admin with defined rights but not able to access entire control of admin. For front end events/tickets/seats, we will set up only one theme one we will allow owners to change the site title description logo of his page and basic changes like as footer link or menu other things are fixed according our proposed design. But users will not able to change the theme in his sub domain specifically. Website works on basis of multisite as per Wordpress standards.

Super Admin will be able to manage users, organizers and tickets over the website.
